End the lesson

Press End lesson, then confirm. The lesson closes for all students, and each student sees "Lesson ended".

If you close the app or the lesson page without pressing End lesson, the lesson keeps running and its time keeps counting. Go back, press "Back to lesson", and then End lesson, or on Account on the website, click "End lesson" on the class's card.

Lesson summary

After the lesson ends, you'll see a summary with how long it lasted and how many students attended, like:

Lesson ended · 47 minutes · 4 of 5 attended

This means 4 of the 5 students in the class attended. The same number shows at the top during the lesson.

Below it are the names of the students who attended. Press "OK" to go back.

How is attendance recorded?

  • Every student who joins with their link is marked present automatically, along with the time they joined.
  • You don't need to take a roll call or write anything down.
  • On the class page, the Attendance section shows every lesson: who attended and for how many minutes, and who was absent.

Time that counts

The minutes from the start of the lesson to its end are what count against your plan's balance, so press End lesson as soon as you're done.
