| End lesson | Ends the lesson for everyone. |
Screen sharing
Press Share screen. On Windows, choose your whole screen or just one program, like a PowerPoint file. On Android, accept the screen recording request. Students see your screen right away. To stop, press Stop sharing.
In the browser on a computer, your browser asks whether to show a tab, a window or your entire screen. To stop, click Share screen again. Screen sharing isn't available in phone browsers. See Teach from the browser.
Choosing the mic and camera
If you've plugged in a headset or an external camera: from More, open "Audio settings" and choose the device you want.
In the browser, you choose them on the "Check your camera and mic" page before you start, and you can change them from More during the lesson.
Tips for clearer sound
- Use a headset with a mic if you can. The sound is much cleaner.
- Sit somewhere quiet, and move closer to the router if your internet is weak.
- If students hear an echo, it's usually because a student has their mic on and the sound is coming out of their phone's speaker. Ask them to turn off their mic or put on headphones.
