If you signed up with your email and a password, we send you a confirmation email. You can't start your first lesson until you confirm your email, but you can create your classes, add your students and send them their links right now.
Signed in with Google? Your email is confirmed automatically, and there's nothing to do here.
Confirm it in a minute
- Open the email account you signed up with, and look for the "Confirm your email for Hessety" message.
- Press "Confirm my email".
- A Hessety page opens, saying "Your email is confirmed". That's it.
The link works on any device, even one where you're not signed in to Hessety. So if you signed up on your computer, you can open the email on your phone, no problem.
In the app
While your email isn't confirmed, the first thing on Home is a "Confirm your email to start your lessons" card, with:
- "Send the email again": sends you a new confirmation email.
- "I've confirmed it": tap it after you open the link, so the app checks and removes the card.
And if you tap "Let's start" or "Start lesson" before you confirm, the same card pops up in a small window.
On the website
In Account, you'll see "Confirm your email so you can start lessons" at the top, with the email address we sent it to. If the email got lost, click "Send it again".
The email didn't arrive?
- Look in your spam (junk) folder, and in the Promotions tab if you use Gmail.
- Wait a couple of minutes before you ask for another one. Emails sometimes take a little while.
- Make sure the email shown in the alert really is yours, with no typos. If it's wrong, message us from Messages → Hessety team and we'll fix it for you.
Still can't find it? See Emails aren't arriving.
Old link?
The confirmation link works for one hour. If you open an old email, you'll see a "This confirmation link has expired" page. Ask for a new email with "Send the email again" in the app, or "Send it again" on the website (if you're signed in on that browser, the button is on the same page), and open the latest email you get.
