You pay for Hessety with a transfer from your phone, using Vodafone Cash (Vodafone's mobile wallet in Egypt) or InstaPay (Egypt's instant bank transfer app), and then you must upload a screenshot of the transfer. That screenshot is how we know your money has arrived, and without it your subscription won't be activated. The whole thing is 4 steps, and you'll see them at the top of the payment pages: Plan → Length and payment → Transfer and screenshot → Activation.
Before you start
- Have your phone with you, with your Vodafone Cash wallet or the InstaPay app on it, and the amount in it.
- You'll need to take a screenshot of the success message. If you're not sure how, on most phones you press the volume-down and power buttons together.
1. Open the plans page
On the website
- Sign in at hessety.com, and open Account.
- In the Your subscription card on the side, click "Choose a plan" (if you're on the trial), "Renew or change plan" (if you have a plan), or "Renew your subscription" (if your subscription has ended).
From the Android app
- Open the Account tab, and tap "Choose a plan" or "Renew or change plan" under your name. Your My plan page opens.
- In the card at the top, tap the same button again. The website's plans page opens inside the app, already signed in to your account.
If you see a "Switch account" page, the browser was signed in to a different account. Make sure the name and email on the page are yours, and press "Continue as" with your name. If you didn't open this page from the app yourself, press "Stay in my account".
From the Windows app
Open Account and click "Choose a plan" or "Renew or change plan" under your name. The My plan page opens with the same plans, and you go through every step in the app, just like on the website. The differences: the app asks you to confirm ("Pay …?" with the amount) before it carries on, and you pick the transfer screenshot from your computer's files.
2. Choose your plan
On the "Choose your plan" page, click "Choose Basic" or "Choose Pro". If you already have a plan, it's marked "Your plan", and its button says "Renew" with the plan's name, like "Renew Basic".
"Renew or change plan" opens this page with all the plans, on the website and in the app. The "Renew your subscription" button in the alert that your subscription ends soon opens your plan's page straight away, at the duration step.
Not sure which to choose? See Plans and how they differ.
3. Choose how long and how you'll pay
- Under Duration, choose: 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year. Next to each one you'll see the full amount, and how much you save.
- Under How will you pay?, choose Vodafone Cash or InstaPay.
- Read the note underneath. It might say, for example, that the time is added to your current subscription, or that the new plan starts on the day it's activated.
- Click "Continue to payment".
4. Transfer the exact amount
A "Pay with" page opens, with the name of the method you chose. Only two things on it matter to you:
- Amount, with "Copy amount" next to it.
- Send it to: the number or address, with "Copy number" or "Copy address" next to it. You might also see the account holder's name under it.
Open your wallet app or InstaPay, and transfer exactly the amount on the page, not a pound more and not a pound less. If there's a note on the page (like writing your email in the transfer note), do that too.
Each method in detail: Pay with Vodafone Cash and Pay with InstaPay.
5. Take a screenshot of the success message and upload it
- After the transfer, take a screenshot of the success message. It must show the amount and the number you sent it to.
- Go back to the same payment page, click "Choose the transfer screenshot", and pick it from your gallery. It must be a JPG, PNG or WEBP, and no bigger than 6 MB.
- The screenshot you picked shows up. Make sure it's the right one.
- If you like, fill in The number you sent from, or the transaction number. It's optional, but it makes the review faster.
- Click "Send for review".
This step is a must. The transfer on its own isn't enough: without the screenshot, the payment stays "Awaiting payment" and never even reaches review.
6. Wait for activation
You'll see "We got your transfer screenshot". That's your part done, and there's nothing else you need to do.
- We review the transfer, and that's usually done within a few hours.
- As soon as it's confirmed, you get a notification and an email, "Your payment is confirmed", and your subscription is active straight away.
- Until then, you can set up your classes and students as usual.
What happens during the review, and what to do if it's rejected? It's all in After you upload the screenshot.
If you closed the page before uploading the screenshot
No problem, the page is waiting for you:
- On the website: open Account. At the top you'll see "One step left: upload your transfer screenshot". Click "Upload the transfer screenshot".
- In the app: open My plan. You'll see the same message, and an "Upload the transfer screenshot" button.
The transfer page stays open for 7 days. After that it closes and its status becomes "Not completed", and then you start a new payment from the beginning.
Good to know
- If you come back and pick the same plan, the same duration and the same method, the same transfer page opens, not a new payment.
- If you have a transfer we're reviewing, you can't start a new payment until the review is done. You'll see "We're reviewing one of your transfers right now. Wait for the result before starting a new payment."
- One transfer screenshot is for one payment only. The same screenshot won't work for another payment.
If something goes wrong
- Paid, some time has gone by, and your subscription isn't active? See I paid but my subscription isn't active yet.
- Screenshot rejected? See After you upload the screenshot.
