Delete a class

When a class is over or you don't need it anymore, delete it from its page. Its past lessons stay in your history.

From the app

  1. Open My classes and press the class.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and press Delete class.
  3. Confirm.

You'll go back to My classes, and the class won't be there anymore.

From the website

  1. Go to Account on hessety.com.
  2. At the bottom of the class's card, click Delete class and confirm.

What happens when I delete a class?

  • Students: they're removed from the class, and their links stop working.
  • Class code: it no longer lets anyone in.
  • Past lessons: they still count toward your usage, and their attendance keeps the students' names.

Deleting can't be undone. If you need the same class again, create a new class and add the students.

I can't delete the class

If a lesson is running in this class, you can't delete it. Press End lesson first, then delete the class.
