Appearance
In the app's Account tab, choose Appearance, then pick the colors that are easiest on your eyes. The app changes right away.
- Auto: light during the day and dark at night, following your phone's setting.
- Light colors: Hessety, Notebook, Sea, Rose, Sand, and Clear (black on white, for bright light).
- Dark colors: Hessety Night, Chalkboard, and Night.
The appearance only changes for you, not for your students.
Notifications
The bell icon at the top of the app and the website shows your notifications, and the number on it tells you how many are new. You'll get notifications like:
- A student opened their link and is waiting for you to start the lesson.
- "Your payment is confirmed", or the reason a transfer screenshot was rejected.
- "Your subscription ends soon", 3 days before it ends.
- Important messages from the Hessety team.
Payment and subscription notifications also come to your email.
Notifications not arriving on your phone?
- Make sure notifications are allowed for the Hessety app in your phone's settings.
- Some phones close apps running in the background to save battery. Take Hessety off "Battery optimization" in your settings.
